Withy Water
About Us.
Withy Water Caravan Park & Fishing Lake was established by the Baker Family as a farm diversification business to compliment their established dairy farm business.
Withy Water Caravan Park has now matured into the ‘wildlife wonderland’ as described by the David Bellamy Gold Award.
The fishery was first established with its popularity leading people wanting to stay with us for their holidays. The natural progression was to provide a caravan site for people to come and enjoy not only the fishing Withy Water has to offer but the natural beauty of the local area and the enjoyment of other businesses and what they have to offer too!

Conservation Awards
We are very proud that we have received the David Bellamy GOLD conservation award. Achieving this award is a testament to our commitment in making sure you enjoy your stay here with us.
What is the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award?
The David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme is one of the longest running green tourism awards in the UK.
The idea of the scheme was first sown when Professor David Bellamy OBE gave a talk to members of the camping, caravanning and holiday home park industry in which he gave the audience members a challenge to be part of the environmental solution and not part of the problem. David was then invited to visit many parks and was amazed at the wide range of work that the most forward-thinking owners were doing for the environment.
David was so impressed that a partnership was formed between the Conservation Foundation (the environmental organisation that David co-founded to help businesses get involved in conservation) and the British Holiday & Home Parks Association to set up an award scheme.
